Well, they can't access SOLAR on the 11th, but on the 13th when it re-opens people are always changing around their schedule because of conflicts or changing their minds about what they really want to do. So they drop/add which causes other people to drop/add. So even if you don't get anything the first day, keep on checking.

Not sure when exactly, but there will be a time when you can add your courses (whether that will be through solar or with the right office, I can't be sure). But people do tend to drop courses so whenever the time tables to get back up, be sure to check on the hour to see if you can nab that possible spare seat =)

Don't give up and keep on checking to see if the course opens up.
As for the "E", it stands for evening courses.

depends on where the 3 is.
if its 3xxx it is a third year course. if its xxx3 then it's a three unit (one term) course.

Hey, I got a conflict between a lab and tutorial. Do they open seats up for labs? The course is Mech Eng 2B03 and in order to be conflict free I need Lab 03 but that's the ONLY one that is full lol. The other available lab sections 01 and 02 conflict with a core and a tutorial from SFWR ENG 2MX3. I cannot change around anything from SFWR ENG 2MX3 since there is only one section for core and tutorial.
Also who should I contact about this (Who has the authority to open seats of for labs)? Prof, lab coordinate, academic advisor Jeanne Hopkins, or the Dean of Eng?

Hmm, if these courses are required for you, they will open up seats for you. Contact the office of the associate dean of Eng and go from there.

They aren't required to open the business courses because you aren't in it.

you could always email the office of the registrar asking them what you should do to be in business next sept.

Those are the people you have to contact... who exactly did you contact in the civ eng faculty?
