I was thinking that since the year is almost over and we'll be moving on to 2010, perhaps we can post some of the memorable moments of 2009. Post anything that took place in 2009. You are free to post anything from news to videos to stories, etc.
I think one of the most important events that took place in 2009 was the death of Micheal Jackson, the King of Pop. There are many more but that's all I can really come up with right now.

There are too many to be honest. People have different opinions though about what they think may be memorable. I was just trying to get people to post what they thought were some memorable moments of 2009. If you really want though, I can list some other moments that I think were memorable though it would probably be a very long list.

I know this wouldn't be much of a 'memorable event' for many people here...but being from England, the most memorable event for me this year would have to have been England qualifying for the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
