Topic: Making Medicine: Why is it so difficult?
We are pleased to welcome guest speaker:
Dr. Patrick Vallance, Vice President Medicines Discovery & Development, GlaxoSmithKline.
Dr. Vallance joined GSK in May 2006 as Head of Drug Discovery, and on July 1 2010 was appointed Senior Vice President, Medicines Discovery and Development and as a member of GSK’s Corporate Executive Team. Dr. Vallance has focused GSK’s discovery engine on therapy areas underpinned by the most promising and mature sciences, offering fresh insights into diseases.
