Adding and Dropping on SOLAR- question
On the 8th, SOLAR reopens at 8:30. I was wondering, if I have a conflict on my times table and I need to choose another elective, do I get charged for dropping and adding courses after this date?

I believe each Faculty pays per units, no? If that's the case, then as long as you still have the same total amount of units as before you should be fine. No additional charges for dropping/adding.

Rushing to log into solar is only important to

1) Get the labs/tutorial spots you want (less important for upper years)
2) Sign into an elective that may be filling up/already full. If full just try to keep checking and hope it opens up.

The moment you modify SOLAR, your payment agreement will modify and the cost will change per unit. So if your courseload is 40 units and you drop a course, the appropriate dollar value will change
