I knew that I wouldnt get early acceptance because my marks werent in yet. Only 2 in.. the rest of them will be in for midterms... but still, getting anxious. BUT they way I look at it, its only a few more weeks to wait... instead of before when its was months
So will the next round of acceptances be at the end of April/May then? |

Wow that's insane. In previous years, whenever I talked about applying to McMaster, everyone would say, "Where?" This year it's different.
Oh, and I read somewhere that they send out admissions at different times depending on the faculty. I got my acceptance e-mail almost a week ago, and I applied to social sciences. Though, all my friends who applied to programs like sciences and engineering haven't heard yet.

Each faculty has different admission processes, different cut offs, etc. and top that off with the idea of a rolling acceptance, people will get their letters and e-mails on different dates. So if you haven't gotten yours yet, just hang in there

How long does it take for the admission to come in the mail? I haven't got the mailed one yet...:O

I got the e-mail on Friday night, on the 29th. The package didn't come until the Thursday afterwards, and I live in Toronto. It really depends on where you are.

So ive applied to business program at McMaster. Their cut off average is 80-82% what if i have 81.5 right in the middle of the anticipated cut off? does that mean im removed for consideration or does that mean aslong as i have above 80 im set?
