Admissions?
Hi!
i'm just wondering, i took advanced functions in grade 11 which i did really poorly, now i have my 3 uni courses from this semester and they all add up well with my average requirement. However, if i add my advanced functions mark it brings my average way down. Just wondering, will mac consider my advanced functions mark for admissions? or will they only look at my three uni marks this semester? thank you so much in advance!

Unless advanced functions is a requirement for your program they won't look at it. They also won't look at it if you have more than 6 uni level or mixed courses that you have a higher grade in than adv functions.

If they ask for either then they will take the highest one regardless of whether one is a final mark and the other is a midterm mark

They won't consider it unless your calc mark ends up being lower than your functions mark or of your top-required 6 courses, you don't have any other courses higher than your functions mark
