I love OPIRG.
Too bad you didn't offer this when I was a first year student. Sounds more fun than regular WW.

hey lij,
thanks for the love,
alternative welcome week is free and open to everybody, so you should totally come out even if you're not in first year.

: ( I'm not at Mac anymore.
But OPIRG is great, thankfully there is one at UWO. They help to fund amazing groups (Mac Veggie Club, Open Circles/Community Volunteer Action, MFNSA) and workshops. They even helped with our human rights conferences. Plus there's a whole bunch of fair trade coffees, teas, and chocolates on sale. Nom nom nom.

Tenant Rights should be informative. What's Trans 101? Transportation? Transition?

Transgender?
I don't know, I'm just guessing, but that's the first thing I think of...I checked the website but couldn't find anything.

Yeah, I know. There's no description in the website, it's one of the few events that doesn't have a description.

you guessed it, it's an introduction to trans issues and how to be an ally.
i probably shouldn't have gotten lazy and put all the event descriptions up. more will be up in the next couple days.
