Anyone doing courses through Continuing Education?

Hey is anyone here doing courses towards a Certificate/Diploma program? I haven't heard much about it other then the fact that you can transfer some of the credits towards a degree program...

can anyone confirm if this is true? Like do those courses count as normal courses in the sense that ..courses taken through Athabasca don't count towards your CGPA I don't think....is this the same for courses done through CCE?

Any input would be great...thanks guys!
