Anyone Dropping PHYSICS 1B03?
I went on to SOLAR late and the physics course I need is full. Anyone plan on dropping PHYSICS 1B03 term 1 OR 2? I'm offering PHYSICS 1L03 term 2 day or ASTRON 1F03 term 1 day or MED PHYS 1E03 term 2 day. I'd prefer 1B03 term 1 if at all possible. THANKS!

Spots will almost definitely open up! If you can find someone to trade that would be great, but even if you don't, don't worry! I got into phys 1B03 (switched from 1L03) for term 2 in December...the academic advisors wouldn't open up a spot for me because they said that people without gr12 physics would fail 1L03 first term and therefore wouldn't be able to take 1B03 second term, so spots would open up

Hm...if you email the academic advisors and tell them you're strongly considering going into physics in second year (or some other program that requires BOTH physics courses!) then they'll probably open up spots for you I'm not 100% sure, but it can't hurt to try! If they say no, try emailing the physics dept directly--they'll be excited you're considering majoring in physics and likely be helpful!

Academic advisors are located in BSB 129. Contact info is here: http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/ass...ergraduate/122

You can just email [email protected], or call them, or go in person. In person is probably the best way, but if it's not possible then there are the other two options.

If that fails, the physics dept contact info should be on their website, and there's also an article on Macinsiders somewhere that has all the contact info for each dept

logans says thanks to nerual for this post.
