How to Apply
I'm in the Humanities faculty next year, but theres some courses that I want to take that aren't Humanities courses. Some of them are social science. Am I still able to apply to those in SOLAR? Do I have to take any extra steps to get into them?

Thanks!!

You can take them if they are offered as electives.

First year soc sci courses are open to humanities students as electives and vice versa. Just make sure you complete the requirements for Humanities I and the pre req's for the program you wish to get into

yep you can just apply to them on SOLAR. there will be a drop down box of all the courses mac offers, so you can just select the course name (ex: SOCIO) then the course code. i think most soc sci courses dont have prerequisites so you shouldnt have a problem getting into them!

This doesn't just apply to soc sci courses, btw. You can take any course from any faculty provided you meet the prereqs.
