Applying for OSAP in 2nd year
Hi. I was just wondering if the OSAP applying process for 2nd year is the same as 1st year and if the deadline for it is June?
Thank you in advance!

The deadline I think is like a couple of weeks before or a couple of weeks after school starts. Unless you want tuition paid for rather than a cheque. I usually do it end of May just to be safe.

You just go here https://osap.gov.on.ca/cgi-bin/lansa...u10809+OSP+eng and log in and select the 2009-2010 OSAP application when its available which should be very soon.

You know you can forward your McMaster e-mails to your personal account right?
The site is incredibly slow to load, most likely because of all the traffic it's getting. Just be patient and remember that you have until July 15th to apply so that it appears as a payment option on your payment agreement.
Although I do believe that in order to receive the QEII scholarship/award you have to apply even before that. I can't find the date at the moment, but if I do I will post another reply. Or perhaps someone else knows?

Awww, I have to wait a couple more days to fill out my OSAP application. Darn you McMaster! I hope I get into the program I wanted ^-^ Only 4 more days until I find out! So excited!
EDIT: I just found information about the QEII Aiming for the Top Scholarship. The deadline to apply is June 19, 2009.
Edit#2: I thought it would help someone people with questions about the scholarship so here's the website: https://osap.gov.on.ca/eng/not_secur...FAQs_12345.htm

Just trying to save myself a long-distance call. I was reading the FAQs about the QEII scholarship and I wanted to know, my average turned out to be 9.6. Will I be entitled for renewal? You need an 80 average for renewal, but a 9 is 77-79 and a 10 is 80-84. So where does that put me? It would be nice to receive the scholarship again, even if it's only the minimum. Every penny helps.

Yes. A 9.5 Cumulative Average (CA) on the McMaster grading scale is 80%.
