Applying for TA Positions...
Hi everyone,

This upcoming year, I am considering applying for several different TA positions. I will need to submit both a cover letter and resume.

Does anyone who has applied for any ta positions requiring a cover letter have a rough template to go by. Cover letters and resumes have never been my strong point (more so, the cover letter) :(

Thanks!

I applied for the chem TA position, and I just talked about my educational background and the chem lab experience it has provided me with, how I feel comfortable working in a lab, I enjoy teaching people things and have experience tutoring in math and science, etc. I basically went through all the characteristics/qualities I thought would be assets in a chem lab TA and talked about how I have these qualities, with examples. On my resume, I made sure to include chemistry/lab experience and tutoring experience.

Good luck!
