Where any of you physically unable to complete your assignments because Avenue was down for an extended period of time? At Waterloo, the Students Union is looking into the question of extensions for students since it also went down there. Apparently A2L attempted a live data transfer/backup. This is where I need your help since I'm no longer a full time student/on the ground anymore.

If your taking about the fact that you can't log in, that is McMaster's issue since McMaster handles the initial login. The earlier issue was Desire2Learn's fault, had nothing to do with McMaster.
And you have to admit, Avenue has been pretty good. Obviously going down for a > day isn't the best, but I don't remember that happening before, only a few small outages here and there other than randomly scheduled maintenance |
