Does anyone else have this term's dropdown box in A2L sandwiched in between first term and second term of last year? The layout is kind of strange, I would like to see them be in chronological order because it is confusing and counter-intuitive this way.

Yeah, it's the same on mine as well. I just minimize all the terms except for the current one.
