The awkward moment when you realize a majority of these awkward moments have occurred to you.

The awkward moment in first year eng when you're still not used to the lack of female presence and you walk into a woman's studies class thinking it was math 1z03 thinking "shit yeah!". Then you realize and you can't leave (nor do you want to) because you sat in the middle of the row of a packed lecture hall. Then the prof asks if there's any male engineers in the audience to illustrate the gap in earning potential after graduation and you're too embarrassed to raise your hand and offer your phone number to the class, even though you really want to.

This can't have happened to just me.

That awkward moment when you walk into the women's washroom and see a girl that looks EXACTLY like a guy and say "OMG I'm so sorry I walked into the wrong washroom"

Elevators...

- That awkward moment when someone is trying to get on the elevator but the doors are closing and they make eye contact with you
- That awkward moment when you aren’t paying attention and follow someone off of the elevator onto the wrong floor
- That awkward moment when you get into an elevator and wonder why it isn’t moving and then realize you forgot to push the button.

Or you deliberately go in another direction to get away from them, but end up seeing them 5 minutes later...

The awkward moment when you read all of these posts and find that almost all of these have happened to you and not being able to tell at the time that it was really awkward, thus meaning that you are too awkward to notice the awkwardness

The awkward moment when you see a cute girl and you wanna talk to her but then some other guy talks to her so you have to walk past and pretend you were doing something else. :X
