The Beacon- Student Support Group (CSD): Wanna C.H.A.A.T.???
The Beacon is a weekly support group that encourages Creating Hope, Acceptance and Awareness Together. Whether dealing with an addiction, mental illness or just feeling overwhelmed The Beacon is a safe place where we can share our feelings in a supported and confidential environment.
Facilitated by Carla Glanville, Personal Counsellor at the Centre for Student Development, and the Mental Health and Wellness Peer Helpers, meetings are designed to provide support and information through listening and understanding.
