Best way to find out/join clubs?
EDIT: Title should read Find out about*/join clubs

Hey guys, is the best way to find out about clubs at Clubfest?

I haven't gone before >_> so can you guys tell me when/where it's usually held? Sometime when school starts?

Besides that what's a good way to find out about what kind of clubs are available to join?

Thanks ^_^

I believe this year the first clubfest is on September 8th. The second is in second term, don't know when exactly.

I think it's a good place to find out about and join clubs. If the clubs are REALLY serious though, you can easily contact them and they would reply. You can find a list of clubs and their contact information on the msu website: https://www.msumcmaster.ca/clubs/ove...o/overview.htm

Clubsfest is your best bet! Just because you get to see everything and talk to exec/club members about what sort of things the club does. It's usually held in and around MUSC (like around the area in front of Mills and extending from there).
It'll be on Sept 8th from 10-3 this year.

Edit: Another really good way, is to look up the club on the MSU website and contact them to be put on the mailing list for meeting times/more info.

Its worth it to skip class and go to clubsfest, should you encounter this dilemma.

1-2 hours should be more than sufficient... personally I would feel really bad for anyone with classes from 9-3 straight...

I remember a few weeks ago there was a thread in which a link was posted to all the ratified clubs for the upcoming year. I can't seem to find it anymore.

Anyone have any idea what I'm referring to?

Yeah I remember that.

It was like "Recent News and Articles". I can't seem to find the archive for those.
