I would like to take 1AO3 or IMO3 biology as an elective this year but for some reason I'm not allowed. I problem wasn't availability because at the time the class wasn't full. Solar says that I don't meet the academic requisite. However I've taken grade 12 biology in high school (which I passed) so I don't see why I can't take it as an elective.

Does anyone know why???

What faculty are you in?

Did you add Sci 1A00 and Hth Sci 1BS0 to your course list. I think you have to have them as co-requisites.

If it's just an elective you can always take Bio 1P03 which would be very easy for you.

its science 1A00, not science 2C00 btw. the 2nd year one is for coop programs.

add science 1a00 AND hlth sci 1bso to take them, also you can't take bio 1po3 if u have a credit in gr 12 bio.

and I think those reqs only need to be added if you want to take bio 1a03

It's probably because of program restrictions. What program are you in? Like others mentioned, you should add Hth Sci 1BS0 and Science 1A00, but I still don't think that's the problem. Email Kathy McIntosh to find out what's wrong ([email protected]) . Also, you can't take Bio 1P03 if you've taken Bio 12U.
