I'm not in the program...but can answer some of your questions...
You cannot pursue a Masters of Technology degree, as they do not exist (at Mo-Mac for sure, but I believe elsewhere as well). Masters degrees are usually in Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Social Work, Medicine etc.
As for a decent paying job, first what do you consider decent, and second, how long after graduation are you giving yourself to start making this amount?
It is rare to start making good money ($50k plus) straight out of school; entry-level positions simply do not pay that, as you lack the experience and qualifications.
