Can anyone here ice skate?
Just curious. Id like to go skating in the winter, and not a lot of my friends can skate.

I went skating on new year's day this year. It had been 9 years since I was last on the ice, but somehow I could still skate fine. sadly i don't own a pair of my own skates.

It's not the skating part that's hard, it's the endurance. =[ Tough on your friggin legs!

I'm 6'6" so one stride takes me a ridiculous distance. Endurance is for short people! |

Yeah, I skated when I was really young, I don't even remember a lot of the pictures. But I haven't skated since I was a little kid. But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't fall on my face.
I can't believe most of your friends don't skate (unless they're recent immigrants?). We had skating trips in elementary school.
