Where can I buy a decently priced heater for my room?
Basically, my roommates don't like it when our place is hot and have a tendency to prefer lower temperatures than I am comfortable with. I find that I wake up in the mornings and don't want to leave my covers because of the cold. I've tried increasing the heat at night so that when I wake up it's nice and warm, but somehow the thermostat always ends up being decreased... So thought to myself that it would be best if I were to get a digital tower heater for my room; that way I can stay toasty regardless of what my house's temperature is set to. My only problem so far is finding a store close to school that has what I'm looking for (I've checked Home Hardware) and I can't think of any others at the moment.
Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

I have the same issue, there is very little heat in the house I live. I do have a tower heater which is great for warming up room instantly, however, I can't keep it on all night long as i wake up with headaches for some odd reasons. The room gets EXTREMELY dry.

If you have a membership, I would check it out Costco.

Good idea, didn't think of that. There is also the Home Depot in the meadowlands, and Sears at either Eastgate or Limeridge

i got mine from walmart, it's a sunbeam tower heater and i love it .. .comes with a romote too and i don't remember paying very much for it
has different settings and a thermostat so you can set it to stay at a certain temperature and be on for a certain amount of hours
costco is also a great choice to look - the accept returns any day so if something happens 2 years from now as long as you have the receipt and the box they'll take it back
