WHere can I go to just chill?
Anyone have any suggestions of a place that I can just hang out on my laptop in between classes. It doesnt have to be super quiet or anything.

Thanks!

alot of people go to the student center, there are alot of tables, couches, benches etc.

If your looking for a quiet change, also try the atrium in MDCL

You can check out the second or third floor of the student centre where there are couches and/or cubicles.

Or as mentioned, at MDCL in the 'waterfall room' (I don't know what else to call it...)!

The Health Sciences library is nice and comfy with couches, too.

the games room in MUSC is awesome. bubble tea, snacks, and pool tables, rock band, foosball.... you have to pay, but it's cheap and it's a cool atmosphere and not very crowded. just head down towards quarters, but go down one more flight, and walk past undercovers to get there. it's also the bubble tea place, follow those directions if you want.

I was going to start a new topic but I guess I can just ask here.. Are there any recommended places that I can go with my laptop but with a lot of outlets? My battery is crap and I'm not sure where I can go to plug it in and just chill. Right now I'm in Mills Library in the lobby, there are a couple outlets around here. Also, I'm assuming that most of Mac or at least all the libraries have wireless?

The place with the most outlets is probably Mills or any of the libraries. There are some next to the couches in the student centre (2nd/3rd floor), but a few of them don't work.

Here is a list of all the areas on campus covered by the school wireless network:

The engineering lounge is a favourite for nerds of all kinds. theres always tons of lappys, sometimes online games and card games, the tv, and random shenanigans. also people doing homework! :O
