also consult the undergrad calendar to find out which courses will be required for your program/which electives you might want to take ! http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALENDAR/2012-13/
when you go to register on SOLAR you'll need to know the course codes to register in the classes (ex SOC 1A06) so just look into what you need/want to take and write down the course codes !
