The HSR pass always starts working like a week before Sept 1.

So since its Sept5 its working now.

Can you use it if you're a Part-time student or do you have to be Full-time?

pretty sure you need to be full-time (18+ units)

That's what I thought. But do the bus drivers actually check...? I'm not sure they'll notce the difference between a pink sticker and a maroon one.
