Can someone tell me how doable this course is?? How much chemistry involved, assignments, etc.?

I dont know whos teaching it this year, but last year was Dr. Barbier. Interesting enough course, you don't really need to know much chemistry (maybe enough to memorize a few reactions off the slides). Really it was more of an overview of where all the big, important chemicals come from, how they were discovered, what they're used for etc etc. A couple M/C midterms, and a final presentation (no exam). But again, this was last years course, i haven't read anything about the 20010/11 course.
