Overall good course. The book was more or less optional because he had concise notes that he put up. Midterms were challenging, averages were low. But the optional tutorial were awesome and brought everyone's marks up.

This should be in the second-year course reviews...unless you meant 3II3, not 2II3?

has anyone taken this course recently? as well is there a course outline available, I can't seem to find it online. The last time I took chem was first year (I took organic chem in second), but reviewed for inorganic for my MCAT in the summer. Would the knowledge gap be a problem in this inorganic chem class? And how is vargas as a prof?

I took this course last year and Dr. Vargas was amazing! He sometimes got a little bit boring during his lectures because he is very monotone but the knowledge I gained from taking this course is insane.
