Cmst 2e03
I took this course at a really awkward time.
Dr. Stroinska was great! She taught the first half of this class. The material was a little dry, but you could see her passion for the subject, and she tried really hard to make things more interesting (funny examples, pictures on slideshows, etc.). It is my understanding that she has taught this class forever, and never changed the course. With this being said, if you take this course with her, it will be a dry but easy one. I got a 12 in it.
About half way through the year, Dr. Stroinka injured herself while on vacation, so she was replaced for the rest of the term. Her replacement was horrible. He changed the material completely, to things that I never want to hear or think about again.
I guess things worked out in the end though, because we were given all of the exam questions beforehand to study.

I'm looking for a course as an elective and this course has caught my attention and I have heard multiple extremely positive comments about the prof. Do you know how the course is broken down, in terms of grading?

When I took it last year there were three assignments (15% each), a midterm (20%) and an exam (35%).
