I had Dr. Baade for this class, and found her extremely rude and heartless. Hand everything in on time, and don't try to ask for clarification on the marks you receive. Whatever you get, you get.
Apart from her poor personality, the class was fairly interesting. The assignment involved attending cool events (a sports game, concert, celebration, etc.), and then writing a report about it, tying in course concepts. The readings and material were boring, but I ended up doing pretty well because of the break down. There are alot of opportunities to raise your mark, as everything is worth a small amount. We had 3 assignments (10% each), 5 weekly journals (3% each), attendance and participation, a mid term, and an exam. The tests were all written, no multiple choice.
