Anime I'm watching:

Higurashi:

Trying to get through all the seasons again as well as the extra stuff including the Live action. Finished the Live, also just about done the first season. I still can't get over the whole part where Sonozaki Shion is getting her nails ripped off blargh. So gross, even more so than the other murders that have occurred throughout the series (if anyone's seen that "You can't spell Slaughter without Laughter motivational, that's the same series).

This was the last episode I watched:

Durarara!!

0083: Stardust Memory

Almost finished this one.

Clannad & Clannad: After Story

Manga I'm reading:
  • The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
  • Mahou Sensei Negima!
  • Hayate no Gotoku/Hayate the Combat Butler
  • The World God Only Knows
  • Otaku No Musume-san (Otaku's Daughter)
  • And of course, following Naruto, Bleach and One Piece.
Though it's worth mentioning, Naruto and Bleach are ****ing terrible as hell, and it's really a wonder as to why I still follow this. Perhaps I'm compelled to read it on the scanlation sights considering its only a 2 minute read per chapter and just curiosity to see how it ends is what's compelling me. I also finished FMA, which was a great ending to the series.

Old school Gundam >>> Anything post (& including) Wing.

08th MS Team is by far my favorite series despite being an OVA of the Zeon occupation on earth. As well, my favorite gundam/mobile suit of all time is without doubt, ms-18e Kampfer.

Definitely, though I'd like to see how Ken will explain what Zazie is doing in the Magic World with the next chapter =p. Most random appearance. Ever.

Also, here's a funny fact most people don't know about Negima. Since it's by the same author that did Love Hina and A.I Love You, you'd think all three series are actually separate. But surprise surprise, they are actually in the same universe . If you look at the 2nd arc, you'll notice that in the story where they explain Setsuna's arrival in mahora, you'll notice Motoko and her sister (from Love Hina) are actually walking Setsuna to Konoe temple. As well, in the Budokai arc, you can spot characters like Narusegawa and Seta sitting in the background (as well as easter eggs like Goku/Picolo, most of the street fighter gang, etc) - though this appearance isn't exactly story related but more of a cameo.

Read it; it does live up to the hype. Quite funny.

Mind = Blown. Too bad it would take forever just to find those pages. Also, I heard that there are Berserk cameos in Negima? Not sure. Best arc so far, IMO, was the Magic Festival one; the battle at the end of the arc was epic, though the Rakan fight was really good too.

Definitely agreeing on that. Rakan is one of my favorite characters, but I think the same could be said by anyone who practically follows the series. His character is just to comical to not like.

Speaking of arcs, apparently Ken also previously mentioned months before that Zazie's big appearance and significance to the story line would tie in in the final arc(s). In those regards, apparently Negima is reaching it's last leg of the journey. =(

Eh, I think Love Hina was a good length. Negima has to be at least double that. But there were a lot more characters so it's somewhat understandable.

I just watched 14 episodes of FMA Brotherhood to finish off the series. Pretty awesome.

*looks at my own username* Interesting.

Death Note was pretty awesome too, for those who were discussing it earlier. I have to say, the second half of the show was too rushed (instead of a 25 episode arc, it was forced to 12 episodes with one recap, meaning like 11 episodes). This is why some parts seemed to not make as much sense. I read a lot of the manga (only for the second half) after watching the anime, and it made more sense and was generally better written.

But I still agree, the first half of Death Note was one of the best shows/manga ever.

Just watched the first episode of highschool of the dead. Basically Boobs/Blood/Gore, so what's not to like? Typical zombie movie elements, but in anime. Patiently waiting for episode 2 =)

Well Wing is technically oldschool, new school Gundam is basically only SEED, SEED Destiny and 00 (and argueably Unicorn) so far.

Anyway, I finished Stardust Memory yesterday and it was ****ing amazing. It's easily one of the best 3 Gundam series I've seen, up there with the original and War in the Pocket.

I guess I should have clarified. I mean, UC(oldest time line) >>> Other Timelines/Eras.

Gundam Wing is the only one in AC, and had some annoying character archetypes. However, to make up for that, it did have some pretty slick Mobile Suite designs (hence why I still like a few of these characters). In particular, I was a fan of Deathscythe, Tallgeese and the Leos.
