Commerce 3FA3
How is this class? I've heard people say it is easier than 2FA3... a lot more theory, less quantitative analysis (which I want to be continued).

Thanks.

It's mostly easier because it's not being taught by Deaves.

I took it this summer, with K. Brewer. Did you take it?

Was he the guy who accidentally released the answer key during the exam or something?

Anyways I took 3FA3 last summer with Chamberlain. Guy tends to take exam questions from his old tests during the summer (but, from what I heard, not during the fall).

The course with Brewer was a joke. I tutored 2 people, both of them got high 90s and their exam was online. WTF, a 50% exam was online and had no enforced time limit. You got lucky, however it will hurt you in the long run Brewer didn't go in depth with the material. I did find 3fa3 a little more difficult simply because the foundation wasn't there because of brewer(I got a 12 in his course). Both courses are fun and you can do well as long as you study.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I am in second year, but I REALLY want to take the securities course this year.

you cannot take a third year course in your second year, only during the summer after you complete your second year. Just relax take your time with your second year courses.

Lol, you sure about that? What if you get a good CGPA? That can't be right.

I'm pretty sure that you can, as long as you meet the prereqs for the course, and none of them say that you have to be in a certain year to take them, just that you have to have taken a certain class prior.

Easy course. Didn't have an introduction to half the material due to having taken Econ 2I03 instead of 2FA3, didn't study and still did well.
