Comp Sci 1MD3
Hey guys,
Just if anyone was wondering who has selected this course for the upcoming school year, the programming language will be Python (replacing Java, yay!). I think of that as a plus has the syntax in Python is much more 'noob friendly' than Java itself and is much more easier to learn.
If you're like me and want to start learning the programming language itself you can download it here:
http://www.python.org/download/
There are several guides for non-programmers and programmers found here:
http://wiki.python.org/moin/BeginnersGuide
Cheers,
herBs

I'm not sure about 1MA3, sorry RankNullity. I asked Prof. Franek and he told me that Python will be replacing Java for 1MD3.

You're welcome, and I already started learning it by myself! It is such a neat programming language I must admit.
Like here is just an extremely basic program
Code:
passwordValue = str()
while passwordValue != "MacInsiders":
passwordValue = input("Enter the password: ")
print ("How did you know the password was MacInsiders? :o")

Anyone and everyone learning python should check out: http://learnpythonthehardway .org/
Nothing quite compares to the learning method. High quality and absolutely free.
