Oct. 17 10am - noon is Cootes Clean-up! Come to Cootes next Sunday for fresh air, free food, and to lend a hand cleaning up our neighbourhood wildlife paradise!

We’re starting at 10 am at the McMaster Cootes Paradise Trail head by Les Prince and the Alpine Tower. We will end around noon with a FREE BBQ courtesy of the McMaster Outdoor Club (bring a cup).

There will be bags and gloves provided, and we will be awarding prizes for the oddest junk!

the forecast is actually rather favourable for the weekend. Sunny, roughly 14 degrees.

For once, I hope the weather sucks this weekend. Bad weather = less people going out = less people at restaurants = less busy = less walking around flustered/frantic at work = happier me.

ops sorry bout that, thought that a home page post would be helpful close to the date and didnt search for it first ^^;

this is a fun event though and if the weather cooperates it would be a great way to enjoy some time outside as well
