No idea what happened. The admin disappeared and nobody can really get ahold of him (not that they're trying very hard).

If you're really desperate for DC++ now though, you can connect to queenshub.ca for the time being. They liek having McMaster people there :p.

The server went down, we're trying to get everything back up and running but it's just taking a long time. We've put up a backup server for now and you should be able to connect but things may be rocky for a little while.

The VPS that I have hosted on for almost a year has gone down for the first time. In response to discovering the hub was down after I got back from my night job, I created a backup hub. This hub will be available from machub.dyndns.org or machub.org for that matter.

There should be no decreased functionality with the backup hub, only a little less organization and OPs. I have contacted the server company that hosts the Hub about reconnecting and I will look into another VPS hosting service that might accomodate our needs better should this hosting company prove to be any further problems.

Cheers,
Schuyler (MacHub Owner, Admin, etc.)
