DC++ for Mac OS X?
Hey, I was wondering which DC++ client would work best for Mac OS X. I searched up quite a few but don't know which one would be a good choice for v10.5 or later. Also, do I need to do any special setup after I get the client or just enter the server id and it's good to go? I have heard the minimum upload share is 512 MB. What happens if I don't meet that requirement? Thanks for reply!

Shakespeer has always been my favourite. There are a few things to do...

1) Open preferences, enter a user name.
2) Go to the share tab, add in some files. You need the minimum amount or you can't connect to the mac DC++.
3) Close prefs, click Connect to Hub. Enter machub.dyndns.org in the Address area. Make sure your nickname is in there too.
4) Click connect, and go crazy!

Ps in the advanced tab of the prefs, make sure "Reconnect to last connected hubs on startup" is checked, it'll make things lots easier.

Yeh you need to use another program called shakespeer. DC++ isn't supported on mac.
