You want to know something funny? My brother's in first year eng, so he was doing Chem 1E03 as I was doing Chem 1A03. On the day of the final exam, he was going over his midterms and there was one question he couldn't figure out which I had a stab at and sorta figured out (I got the right answer, anyway). I didn't think much of it and went to write my final.

Lo and behold, SAME QUESTION. EXACTLY THE SAME. Not even a change in the values. I didn't even attempt working it out, just blacked in the answer.

So yeah. The test even looked easier to me than Chem 1A03, but I'm not going to claim it is.

I got an email from the prof. So unhelpful. He just stated the obvious.

I'm going to email him again.

Also anyone know the average for 1B03?

I'm not going to dispute that. XD Though I was laughing more at the fact that they interchange the questions rather than the difficulty level.

Same thing happened to me! I was helping a lot of my eng friends in chem, and more than a couple of their questions came up on our tests and exams.

I definitely agree that eng phys and calc are usually more difficult, but a lot of my friends in eng had trouble solving phys 1B03 questions. So I guess it really depends.

Interesting, they taught when I took the course and to be honest I think Hughes writes the hardest 1B03 questions, but overall I didn't think physics was too hard of a course.

I know, the course isn't that tough at all. It was 75% review for me, in fact, since what I learnt at my HS was quite diverse. But the questions required a lot of application and thinking and frankly, 2 hrs wasn't enough for 30 questions AT ALL.

Chem was an interesting course for me. I didnt study since after grade 12 chemistry I absolutely hated it, so I just went by with whatever knowledge I had from highschools. I found labs and lectures boring as hell, but whatever, we all have these courses sometime throughout uni.
