Lots of questions being asked in the Forums and Facebook page about MacPasses, so here are common answers to questions:

What is included in the MacPass package that you pick up on campus?

• Wristband for access to all events (some concerts/events require wristband for first-years only)
• Your Faculty T-Shirt
• Residence or Off-Campus T-Shirt
• Waterbottle
• Umbrella
• Reusable Bag

Forgot to register for your MacPass?
You have until Sunday, August 25, 2013 at midnight to register.

1. Activate your OSCARplus account with your MacID user name and password
2. Click on Student Login button. Enter your MacID user name and password
3. Click ‘Events’ Tab
4. Click ‘Fairs & Special Events’
5. Fill out the Registration Form provided
6. You will receive an email confirmation
7. Print your email confirmation and bring it with you when picking up your MacPass

If you didn't register for your MacPass then you can sign up in person at the MacPass pick up location.

What do I need in order to pick up my MacPass?

In order to pick up your MacPass, bring:

• Your McMaster Student ID Card. If you have not yet received your student card, bring documentation that highlights your student number as well as a form of photo identification, OR
• The printed email confirmation from registering for the MacPass

Where do I pick up my MacPass?

• MacPass pick up will be in T28 (located near Ron Joyce Stadium on Michell Drive).
• Pickup dates are: Saturday August 31, Sunday Sept 1, Monday Sept 2

What if I can’t make it to MacPass Pick Up on those days?
MacPass distribution will be relocated as of Tuesday, Sept 3 to the Student Success Centre (Gilmour Hall Room 110)

• Tuesday Sept 3 – 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Wednesday Sept 4 – 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Thursday Sept 5 – 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Friday Sept 6 – 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Can upper-years buy/get a MacPass?
The MacPass is exclusively for first year students at McMaster. The MacPass cannot be purchased by upper year students. There are, however, many events during Welcome Week that are open to upper year students... we'll list them on MacInsiders for you closer to Welcome Week!

I did not activate my mcmaster email account until after i registered for my macpass and did not receive an email confirmation

Your registration should be ok, but maybe contact them to double check and let them know what happened !
