How do I apply to teaching assistant positions at McMaster?
I cant seem to find an exact answer on the forum... I am currently in my third year and would love a TA positions for some of my courses either next semester or next year. I am specifically looking for positions in the math and economics departments

Call or go to your faculty department office. They usually have a bulletin board outside the office that they use to post up positions when they are hiring. If there's nothing posted, just ask the person in the office if they know of any positions.

I would then speak with the professor of the course you want to T.A. it has to be a course you've already taken, and obviously done well in. If it's the same professor teaching the course each year and you know him/her then it's nice because you already know the Prof and can feel comfortable asking questions, etc.

You'll then put together your resume and some departments have am application to fill out.

I was a T.A. in my 4th year and it was really rewarding. Highly recommend it if you really enjoyed a course.
