Talk to an academic advisor. Get your grades up and apply next year, but it also depends on the number of students who decide to go into biochem this year (If the majority of students who got into biochem decide to go into biochem, there may not be any open seats for applicants next year).

if you got into something like mol bio and genetics then you can shadow everything except biochem 2L06. but no matter what you can take chem bio 2P03, 2A03, bio 2b03, 2c03, chem 2oa3, 2ob3, stats 2b03 (all required biochem courses in 2nd or 3rd year), and depending on what the academic advisor says, maybe biochem 3g03 to replace 2b03/2bb3. that would make it really easy to switch in 3rd year if you do well enough, and if not, all those courses would count towards your other major probably.

I doubt they'd let 3G03 replace 2B03, but mol bio people can take 2B03 and 2BB3.
But yeah, acceptances depend on grades. Your grades weren't high enough, so you'll have to work to get them up, shadow biochem, and then if there is space then they'll let you transfer in. Space is key, though...many specialization people drop down to core, and it also depends how many people accept their offers next year (since you'd be taking 2L06 with them, there has to be room for that too).
