Do I have to start first year in Computer science?
I'm currently starting 3rd year electrical engineering and I want to get into Computer science. Do i have to do the first year courses for comp sci?

Depends on if your existing courses are eligible for comp sci courses' requirements. Speak to an academic advisor to get an accurate response.

No, its a waste of time. Stay in ECE, but take extra software related courses in your final year.

Your eng specialty doesn't mean much for what job you'll end up with. What matters is what you can do for an employer.

Yes, depends really on what your interest and talent is in.
What at the end point matters is, how well you can analyse and come up with a good solution for your employer.
