Earth Chicken Sandwich
Earth Chicken Sandwich
Recipe by TULSI JOSE, MACINSIDERS
Enjoy this summer with this hearty and very nutritious chicken sandwich packed with vitamin C, iron and nutrients .
Ingredients:
Crushed Wheat: 5 big spoons
Parsley: 5 fresh branches ( finely chopped)
Lemon juice: 3 Tablespoons
Salt: as needed.
6 baby tomatoes( finely chopped)
2 slices of whole wheat bread
Humus: 2 big spoons.
1 grilled chicken breast: cut into fine strips
How to make:
- Soak the crushed wheat in water for few hours before you make the sandwich.
- Drain the water and keep the soft crushed wheat aside.
- Mix the chopped parsley,crushed wheat mix,lemon juice , salt and baby tomatoes in a bowl and put it in the fridge.
- Toast the bread and spread the humus as needed.
- Layer the bread with chicken strips and add more humus on the chicken.
- Add the cool parsley mix on the bread and grill the sandwich for 2 minutes.
