I never read the textbook, so I'm not sure there. The professor does/should tell you what chapters of the textbook they are focusing on in the lectures, so that should help you. Last year, she didn't assign any homework, so I'm not sure if you technically ever do have 'homework'. You could do the end of section questions if you'd like..but redoing are examples, and whatever else she provides should suffice.

There should be assignments on avenue. Just read the slides and see what the assignment covers

It should be on the course outline. It tells you exactly which chapters to read every week and maybe even some recommended problems from the textbook. Good luck!

The online quizes are called assignments. They aren't worth much, but they compliment the quizzes in class

Ah right, she called them practice quizzes for me, if I can recall correctly.

Actually this year, there are no in-class quizzes, those online quizzes can used as a bonus toward the exam. She changed the weighing of assessments this year with the midterms being 30% each and the exam worth 40%.
