I've heard that there isnt much of a point in attending lecture classes for 1B03 (since holme's tests are based entirely on her powerpoint slides), but what about econ 1BB3? Is there a need to attend the lectures, and is there a need to buy the textbook?

if you dont need the textbook, and you dont need to attend lecture, what are the midterms based on then?

No need to go to class or buy the book. You're forced to get an Aplia account and with that purchase comes an online version of the book. Just read the book and watch her podcasts and you should be fine.

didn't attend even 1 lecture, didn't buy the textbook, bought the aplia card, saw the podcasts, scored a 12...podcasts are all that is required to succeed in this course...
