Is econ 2X03 required for commerce program? If it says we need it, why are we given an elective to "choose"?

yeah it's required. you have to take it.

i dont understand your question. you MUST take econ 2x03, and then you have some electives. what's the problem??

If there are 30 units chosen for us do we need to take 33 units?

There are only 27 units of required classes - 24 Commerce units and 3 Economics units. You use the remaining 3 units to take an elective.

It is not required. You can, however, take it as an elective.
