eng 1ee0
It says on the McMaster site that in order to take eng 1ee0, the course has to be registered on Oscar plus as well as solar and that the time listings on solar are incorrect. On solar, I registered for 1ee0 in the second semester but Oscar plus does not show any time listings for this course in second semester. Does that mean this course is unavailable?

Its available but won't show until end of first semester or starting second semester. Check back when you are near.

Personally, I would recommend you to do it first semester and as soon as you can. You need to pass it to get to the job listing and by second semester, its really close to all the deadlines and might even be too late to find jobs for summer.

The amount of work is minimal so it won't affect your course load at all. The most time consuming thing is doing your resume and cover letter.

You sign up on Oscar. During class they say to look on solar and add it to your list
I agree with avacado since if you want summer coop positions etc the database is more useful. If you are planning to do an internship, I wouldn't bother until your 3rd year since it is extra fees which you won't be using. The fees are to access the job database
