I am in first year Engineering Term 1. I have 1P03 course. Its a two term course. Could anyone tell me whether we have just the three assignments this term or do we have an exam in December as well?

Groups are generated by your TA with the students in your tutorial.

Remember the mark distribution from the syllabus...just saying
Anyways 1P03 definitely gets ALOT better in second term. I mean nothing gets better than having a competition of building newpaper bridges for fun hhaha.

I remember last year the exam has a question:
What is the percentage of the midterm and project in this course?
a) 25,25
b) 25,40
etc.
It's such a pointless course.

Who cares! It's free marks!
Who knows how many of us would even be here right now if it weren't for the 10-12 from 1P03 boosting the rest of our marks :S
I know I was on the brink!

Dunno about free marks there. Different people did differently. 1P03 was my lowest at a 7, that exam/midterm killed me, couldn't study for it at all. Such a boring course :'(

Hi, I'm a first year engineer. My question is: what is the best way to study for the midterm/exam for this course? Should I do all the readings or are the past year tests good enough? Thanks for your help in advance.

I got a 9 in the course and all I did for midterm/exam was jus go over the sample. Some really pointless questions on the mid/exams tho.
