Engineering Marks
Ok so like every other engineering students, I finished physics, chemistry and programming tests/midterms.

I just checked my mark on physics test and I got 15/30. (50%) . I don't consider myself an idiot or a genius in physics but I know I can do well. The only thing I did in physics is the labs, and 2 CAPA.
Now considering, I get my ass back on track and do all the reading, problems, CAPA, etc... Can I still make it in 70-80% range?

Dude, its not about whether or not you can do it, its whether or not you have the determination and will to do it. Honestly, its always so easy to say "man, i'm gonna study SO HARD for the next midterm and ace it!" then when it come down to it, alot of the times, you just get lazy and not actually study.

Commander, moonlitnight all say thanks to killza for this post.

do you have the desire to be an engineer, you've really got to WANT to understand how things work. passion alone is a big factor (but definitely not the only one) when determining marks.

Yet, you should have the adequate math skills.

I'm in Eng I too. I find CAPA really helps. It may not be worth much, but the problems are good and you can see what works and what doesn't.

Well sorry Reimann if I don't know about Laplace Transforms, or Partial Differential equations.

...
Jesus, with this sort of logic... you're gonna struggle, bro.

You got 50% on something. Figure out how much it's worth. Then find the weightings for everything else you have from now to the end of the term.

Now start doing some real basic math.

They're saying you should be able to figure out for yourself if you can still make it in the grade range you're looking for.

YOu dont need to know that for first year. Try learning 1+1 first.
