Engineering programs
What average from highschool is required from my top 6 so i Can have first pick for my second year program such as Civil engineering (structural

Thanks for your help

and if i get an average close to that will they round up like if its 88% i get 87.5% will they round it for me?

Once you get into University, your high school marks don't have any effect on your future.

Yeah, with a high enough entrance average you'll get into anything you want provided you keep up at least a 4.0 CA. I think there might be some exceptions for the disciplines that usually require higher averages (Elec and Biomed), but if you want to get into that you'll probably have a high enough CA anyway.

i know but I saw somewhere on Mcmasters website that there is a certan average that if you recieve u will get a free choice for second year. What is that average

You need a mid to high 90 in order to be eligible for "free choice" in engineering.

two years ago free choice was given if you entered uni with a 90avg. That did not include the elec&biomed engineering stream.
