English 1C06 vs English 1A03/1AA3
Hi everyone,

I'm in my final year of study and I plan to take 6 units of English courses as prerequisites for professional school. I can either take:
  • English 1C06 with Dr. King, or
  • English 1A03 with Dr. York, and English 1AA3 with Dr. Hyman

I'm not too worried about grades. Rather, as I will be taking the SAT English Exam in December, I would like to know which option would be the best for improving one's comprehension of poems or passages written in older English: English 1A03 or the first half of English 1C06?

I would appreciate any other comments regarding any of the three courses (e.g., the amount of readings, whether they are interesting, etc.)

Thanks in advance!
