English 2G06
This class was a very enjoyable one. I found it to be easy and the prof is very easy going in his manner.
The only problem I really had with this class is that there were not many moments when the prof said something that made me think "Oooh, I'd never thought of it like that before!". In other words, it was very straight forward. As long as you do the readings you will do very well in the class. That being said, you're expected to read a novel every week, sometimes two weeks depending on the novel. Keep on top of the readings and you'll be fine.
For a look at the past syllabus see here.
Course Breakdown:
First Term Essay- 15%
Second Term Essay- 25%
Tutorial Participation- 25%
Final- 35%

I agree. Canadian Lit has been one of my favourite classes so far! I highly recommend if you are wondering what to take.
