English Courses with no final essay exam

Hi,

I was just wondering if there's any English courses where the final exam isn't an essay but rather multiple choice/ definitions and/or short answer questions?
I took English 1A03 with Dr. Zurovski-Jenkins and the final exam consisted of multiple choice, short answer and definition based questions and was wondering if there's any other similar English courses that have a similar exam format?
